The Grand Prix races can take
longer to run than the endurance racing, and as each driver is racing for
themselves rather than a team. Racing is wheel-to-wheel and we can allow a
maximum of around 10 karts out in each heat.
Racers are given the full
track briefing before the race to ensure everyone knows the quickest and
safest route around the track (the racing line). Drivers will then take part
in the races on the new full circuit, after which the results are announced
and trophies, medals and champagne are given to the true champions of the
track. Queue animated discussions in the bar!
All laps are counted by our computer systems and each lap is timed and
recorded for analysis. |
