The 2010 season promises to be one of the best so far. We have an exciting addition to race days in the form of the new Open class for any non gearbox kart in addition to running another season of our Twin engined junior prokart class. The Honda and Subaru senior classes will be as hotly fought as ever and to add a bit of spice to the mixture, this season features no less than 4 different track layouts. Perhaps the best news of all is the 2010 prices are set to remain at last seasons level with senior race entry at £35.00 and Junior race entry at £25.00.

 Round 6 SCSS Septebmer 12th 2010

Sign on is, as usual from 8.30am and practice starts at 10.00am. Seniors £35.00 Juniors £25.00.

The following classes will be run for the SCSS

Honda Pro
Honda Clubman
Honda Heavy
OPEN CLASS - Open to any NON GEARBOX KART (NO FRONT BRAKES ALLOWED)

Honda juniors - Twin Engined Pro karts
Subaru Pro, Clubmans and Heavyweights.

Usual Stretton format of 3 heats and a final for both classes........ie..........all hondas out together and all the subarus classes out together.

We are looking to finish around 4.30pm .

Ant Durham will again be your COC.

SCSS Dates for 2010 season
We are delighted to announce that for the 2010 season we will be running an open class for any non gearbox kart. Following a successful trial at the last round of the 2009 season, the class will feature a variety of karts with a handicap system in place to take into account the variation. The class is predominantly made up of TKM. Rotax Max, Honda Thunderkarts and Bilands does not exclude any other class of kart.

The Open class will spilt into several subclasses if sufficient numbers of any one make of kart are present but is intended as a fun class with regulations on weight and tyres as open as possible.

The regulations for the class are evolving as more drivers enter so please sign up for the forum to be kept up to date of the very latest discussion.

Many thanks to everyone that has supported the series this year. Its been a great year and today was a fitting finale, with drama in both classes right up to the very last race.

Congratulations are due to everyone who competed in 2009 and thanks need to go to everyone who has supported you along the way. I would also like to thank Ant and his marshal team for some sterling work throughout the season and for keeping the day flowing well as well as the owners of the track for letting us take it over once a month for race days.
