Mini Moto & Pit Bike racing at Stretton has
suffered more than any other class during the recent planning issues.
Every week we seemed to be telling riders something different and every
week we seemed to be asking you to stay away. We managed to run limited
race meeting by skirting the planning regulations and making the most of
the 14 day rule which gave us limited running. But guess what?
Stretton Circuit is back on the radar
and looking to re-establish its reputation of one of the most Bike
friendly circuits in the country.
To achieve this we need your help and
we need you to spread the word. |

In Return, we hope to offer you a
great programme of events including a brand new bike club, a brand new
forum and a brand new bike night and an opportunity to get involved in
shaping the club in the right direction. In addition to this, prices
will be low, the welcome warm and the opportunities plenty.

The BikeClub is open to any Class of bike.
You do not have to be racing, you do
not have to have a certain type of bike and you do not have to be a
certain ability.
The club is there to encourage new
bikers, to have fun and to make riding affordable. As the
club grows, we will be looking to establish a steering committee as a
method of ensuring that the club develops in the right direction. We
have many riders that use Stretton, many have no interest in racing but
that does not mean that their input is any less valued.
The club is there for all users to do
with as they wish. In addition to the facilities, club members will also
benefit from considerable discounts on track time. We are very excited
about the prospect of the Bike Club for 2009. |

**NEW Sunday
Practice sessions at Stretton** |
|
Access to practice sessions is easy
and affordable at Stretton Circuit. We have wide range of exclusive
sessions available in addition to our general testing policy. All
sessions are open to all bikes with a discount scheme in place for
members. You do not have to be a member to use Stretton Circuit but
there are some considerable saving to be made by joining.
Also new for 2009 is the
re-introduction of Sunday practice days. These sessions will be shared
with Karts initially but as numbers grow, we will endeavour to
offer exclusive bike only sessions at some point during the season.
These Sunday Practice sessions are on the first Sunday of every month.
In addition to all the organised
sessions, Stretton is available most weekdays between 10.00am
and 5.00pm for general testing and we hold a late night Tuesday Night
Bik Night

Tuesday Night Bike Night |
|

Brand New for 2009 is the
Tuesday Night Bike Night. We ran these night a few years ago
before the planning problems and they were great nights. The
track is open late until 9.30pm EVERY Tuesday of the year
exclusively for Mini Motos. This Night is just for Bikes. The
Bar is open when you finished and we have a selection of Bar
activities to keep you occupied too.
Don't forget, that you can
arrive as early as 10.00am for this session too with the track
available on weekdays for testing. Sessions are open to all
riders and any type of Bike.

Stretton Circuit have long supported
various national forums over the years. We are strong supporters of our drivers
and riders opinions and we see forums as an ideal way to have an inclusive
discussion in a structure manner. However, some of the issues we hope to be
discussing in the next few months are not for a nation forum consumption which
is why we have created the
Stretton Club forum.
We will continue to support the national forums on a
regular basis and will, of course, duplicate any announcements we make on the
relevant forums but we would like you to take this opportunity, at the start of
the new club system to have your say and shape the future of racing at Stretton
Circuit.

It is our
intention to run our own race series but we need your help in
establishing a team to assist with the technical issues involved
in running the various classes.
Many of you will have visited
us in previous years with the various touring series or own own
Winter series back in 2006 and, we hope, have seen how much we
enjoy Mini Motos at Stretton.
We have spent £40,000 getting
planning permission to have you back so we want to build the
club up to a point where we can stage our own Championship.
Please help us to achieve this
aim by coming forward, offering your services and telling
others. With racing
costing more and more each year, Stretton are determined to
offer cheap, well run and well organised racing.
Its time to look at things
differently. |
